chest freezer!

after the one we found in someone's driveway ended up not working, we broke down and got a brand-spankin' new one.

you could get one just like it here.

we just transferred a bunch of stuff from our regular freezer to the new chest freezer, and it's very exciting. also, over the next few weeks we're going to buy a ton of local veggies (mainly leafy greens - collards, especially) to freeze, so we can eat local as much as possible during the off season. should be great!
